Our goal is to teach children with autism (or other disabilities) to learn from their environment and to build meaningful, socially-responsive, long-lasting relationships with family members and peers.

We train our therapists and BCBAs to teach the way each child learns and to keep learning fun.

Growth opportunities Casual work attire On-the-job training As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be working 1 on 1 with clients providing direct services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
RBTs implement behavior programs and help clients reach communication, social, and behavior goals.
The primary task of an RBT is to implement programs designed by a BCBA to help clients reach communication, social, behavior, or functional life skill goals.
At ACCL, we focus on keeping learning fun for the clients with individualized programs designed to help clients reach their full potential.
Daily tasks for an RBT include:
running programs designed by BCBA collecting and recording data participating in on-going training communicate with BCBA about client progress assist in material creation and set-up assist in behavior analytic assessments Job Requirements High school diploma or GED.
Additional education is preferred but not required.
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation to work Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds Ability to remain in stationary position (sitting, standing, crouching, kneeling) for extended periods of time Prior certification or training in behavior analysis is NOT required - training is provided to all new employees to meet certification requirements.
Additional supervision to obtain BCBA certification is available to RBTs interested.
Prior experience in early childhood care/education, behavior analysis, special education, psychology, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, K-12 education, or related fields is highly preferred.
This is not a nursing position - applied behavior analysis does not utilize nursing credentials for their Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
The job duties in this role are very different from those for a nurse, nurse assistant, or a medical technician position.
