Summary:
Service Advisors are responsible for addressing customer concerns about their vehicles and advising on the best course of action.
You will be required to have detailed knowledge of car mechanics, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate well with customers.
You will be working closely with our sales management team as well as other dealership departments in order to foster and grow our customer business.
As a service advisor, you will be responsible for listening to customer's description of car trouble and be able to effectively and efficiently ask questions to better asses the problem, inspect the vehicle, determine the source of the issue, and provide suggestions for the best way to fix the vehicle.
The Service Advisor position includes commission, and an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
Build relationships & create customers for life Draw up work orders on a case-by-case basis Provide cost estimates to customers for vehicle issues/maintenance Be able to explain billing details to customers Assist customers by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses Be the vehicle expert - Know and be able to communicate effectively the dealership's product offerings, optional packages & latest technology Maintain highly detailed notes about customer's information Keep customer information up to date in system databases Follow-up with customers on necessary repairs and maintenance on an as need basis Learn to overcome objections and formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs Directly report to the Service Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses Work with technicians on the specifics of the work orders Effectively explain the work completed by mechanics and accurately make suggestions for future maintenance needs Strong work ethic and initiative Ability to make independent decisions, work well in a team environment, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required Proficiency in the use of a computer Willingness to work the required schedule (40
hours/week) at the specific location required Ability to work weekends Previous experience in the automotive service industry is required Must possess a valid driver's license Background check required Physical Requirements:
